Markan - Come and get it.

 

 

Markan "Come and get it" Rap.

First met Markan in a West End club where I was filming some performers.
I started chatting to him and his agent Suzy in the changing room.
They were interested in making a video to his latest song called "come and get it",
so a meeting was arranged to get feedback and see my work.

After a few weeks we had another meeting to discuss details and
costs. Not long after we shot the video over a couple of days.

I spent the first day shooting Markan on a blue screen miming to the song, to be used
for the foreground cut-outs. The second day was spent shooting locations
around London to use for some of the backgrounds.

I also have a selection of abstract backgrounds in my library of clips some of which were also used.
The footage was then composited and edited in Final Cut Pro.
